Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, stylised in lowercase as ptcl, is the national telecom company of Pakistan. It provides fixed-line, internet and mobile services (the last through its sub-brand Ufone).
ptcl was originally completely state-owned, but in 2006 it was semi-privatised. The share of government companies in ptcl was decreased to 62%, while Etisalat of the UAE bought a 26% stake. The remaining 12% stake is publicly owned.
