Qatar Airways is the government-owned flag carrier of the State of Qatar, and also its only passenger airline. It is the second-largest airline in the Middle East, after Emirates Airline.note Its logo is an oryx, a species of antelope that is the national animal of the country.
Qatar Airways started in 1993.
The current version of Qatar Airways’ oryx logo was unveiled in 2006 ahead of the Asian Games held that year in Doha, the Qatari capital.
