1995-2001[]
The first Quad City Mallards team started in the Colonial Hockey League in 1995. That league rebranded to the United Hockey League in 1997.
2001-2005[]
2005-2007[]
In 2007 the franchise folded.
Second team[]
2009-2011[]
The second hockey club called the Quad City Mallards was founded in 2009, rejoining the league the original Mallards played in - which had since rebranded to the International Hockey League. That league folded in 2010, at which point the club moved to the Central Hockey League.
2011-2018[]
On October 7, 2014, after the 2013-14 season, the CHL folded. The remaining CHL teams, including the Mallards, joined the ECHL.[1] The club folded after the 2017-2018 season.[2]
