Until 1982 a Queensland Country Representative Team played the County Carnival matches against a Brisbane Representative Team. In 1983 the County Carnival was superseded in favour of State Championships.
East Coast Aces[]
2006-2007[]
The East Coast Aces were an Australian Rugby Championship team representing Queensland outside of metropolitan Brisbane. Like the ARC, the team was short-lived and folded in 2007.
Queensland Country[]
2014-present[]
Queensland Country was founded in 2014, the same year as the National Rugby Championship in which it began competing.
