The station began broadcasting under the name Briz 31 on 31 July 1994.

2006–2008
In October 2006, the channel was rebranded Channel 31 to reflect its expansion into other parts of Queensland outside of Brisbane.
QCTV
2008–2009
In July 2008, the station rebranded again to QCTV.
31 QCTV
2009–2010
In November 2009, the "31" part of their original name was revived when the station was renamed 31 QCTV.

31 Digital
2010–2017
On 7 June 2010, the station began digital transmission on Freeview channel 44 as 31 Digital. On 15 May 2011, the station's analogue broadcaster ceased transmission. 31 Digital ceased broadcasting on 28 February 2017. It was replaced by Queensland Online TV, an online video on demand service.
