Rede Brasil de Televisão (RBTV) broadcast for the first time in 7 April, 2007. Since its founding, RBTV has increased the number of municipalities that capture their signal, today reaching 512 municipalities have the option of watching RBTV.
In 2014, the new logo RBTV with the opening of its stations to HD signal was launched. The logo wordmark uses an older version of Roboto typeface, created by for use in the Google's Android operating system.
On March 2, 2021, Rede Brasil is replaced on its channel in São Paulo by an all-new religious TV network - Universal Church's TV Templo - shifting its signal to TV Metropolitana, another TV concession in São Caetano do Sul, SP, both owned by Marcos Tolentino. The following day, at a meeting between its directors, it was decided that the network will be reformulated, rebranded and renamed. In April 4, it was announced the new name as RBTV.
