RTL ProSieben Schweiz was a Swiss television channel launched on August 16, 1999 as a joint venture between RTL Group and ProSiebenSat.1. However, unusually for a commercial channel, it did not broadcast advertisements. The channel closed on March 24, 2000, presumably due to their failure to attract advertisers to the channel, which was only receivable for a few thousand viewers.
