In 1998, RTP África was launched for viewers from Angola and Mozambique, replacing RTP Internacional. The logo has a sun with the "RTP" words on the bottom with the blue "ÁFRICA" words.

In 2004, RTP África changed its logo (also using the RTP logo, noting that the colors are orange). The logo was used until 2012.

In 2012, RTP África unveiled a new look. The horizontal lines now form the African continent. The word "ÁFRICA" became larger.
