2019–2021[]
Jan Tiebosch and Richard Damen, in the form of TiDa B.V., were both owners and lot holders of Radio 8FM. Due to Tiebosch's illness, they jointly searched for a successor. TiDa B.V. entered into a partnership with Radio 10 (Talpa Radio), with which Radio 10 Brabant filled a gap in the FM coverage in North Brabant. By broadcasting a regional version, Talpa Radio was able to attract more listeners and increase the market share of the national station. Due to legal restrictions, Radio 10 Brabant broadcast a different playlist than its national counterpart and presented programs were not broadcast simultaneously. Radio 10 Brabant's broadcasts started on December 1, 2019 on Radio 8FM's former frequencies, with the exception of the transmitter in Cuijk (95.3 MHz). TiDa B.V. remained the license holder of the frequencies until 2022.[1]
2021–2025[]
On July 28, 2025, five and a half years after Radio 10 Brabant's launch, license holder TiDa announced that Radio 8FM would return on FM and DAB+ in Brabant on September 1, 2025. As a result, radio stations with a national FM broadcast were no longer allowed to broadcast regional versions as of that date, under an amendment to the regulations restricting the use of commercial radio broadcasting. Because of this, the station lost its FM frequencies, which was subsequently used by Radio 8FM.[2][3]
