In the fall of 2015, Radio 8FM changed its slogan to "De nummer 1 in Classic Hits" (The number 1 in Classic Hits). The station could also be listened to in almost the entirety of the Netherlands between January 2016 and March 2017 through a partnership with the stations Radio Royaal (in the Randstad) and Freez FM (in Northern and Eastern Netherlands).[1][2][3][4]

In early December 2019, after 23 years, the station's frequencies were taken over by the regional edition of Radio 10, Radio 10 Brabant, with the exception of FM 95.3 for the East Brabant region, and the Cuijk region where Radio 8FM continued to broadcast until December 31.[5][6][7]

On January 1, 2020, Radio 8FM ceased broadcasting on FM and DAB+ and changed its name to Classics Only.[8]

In February 2020, Classics Only participated in the auction of regional FM frequencies hoping to create air coverage in the Randstad with lot B05 (which was previously used by Fresh FM), but eventually Radio Limburg offered by far the most money for this lot. On May 1, 2020, after exactly five months of broadcasting on cable and internet, the station ceased broadcasting. According to the station, it was not possible to be profitable only via cable and internet.[9][10]
