On December 1, 2019, the former Radio Beethoven was shutdown at midnight, due then-owner Copesa sold the station to an evangelical organization.
On January 2020, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile bought the brand and Radio Zero's frequency in Santiago from Grupo Copesa, making the return of Radio Beethoven on April 1, 2020. The new station essentially is the same as the previous one, including it logo.
