Radio Chișinău is a Moldovan radio station, and it was the first radio station to be broadcasted in the city of Chișinău. Originally launched as Radio Basarabia on October 8, 1939, it was closed in June 1940 due to the Soviet Union occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina, however, the radio station was relaunched as Arena FM on July 21, 2011, which in turn became Radio Chișinău on December 1, 2011.

Radio Chișinău was originally launched as Radio Basarabia on October 8, 1939. In June 1940, Radio Basarabia ceased broadcasting, due to the Soviet Union occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina.
