Radio Promin is the second radio station of Suspilne movlennia, the Ukrainian public broadcaster, and the first musical radio station in Ukraine. It is an alternative music station with a wide range of genres. It was established on 22 April 1965. Probably, this is the first radio station which is still being unfairly ridiculed and attributed to the Sharovar movement like Suspilne movlennia in general.
Fun fact: Promin were the first at their own risk broadcasted the song "Ukraina" by Taras Pertynenko in 1987.
