In May 2020, Bauer Media Group announced it would merge Radio Wave 96.5 and many other former Wireless Group radio stations and rebrand them into Greatest Hits Radio Stations.[1] Radio Wave 96.5 fully rebranded to Greatest Hits Radio in September that year.
