Rai Sat 2[]
1997–1999[]
RaiSat Ragazzi originally began life as a free-to-air satellite TV channel named RaiSat 2 in 1997.
Rai Sat Ragazzi[]
1999–2006[]
RaiSat 2 was renamed RaiSat Ragazzi in 1999 after becoming exclusive to Tele+, alongside the other RaiSat channels.
Later in 2006, RaiSat Ragazzi was closed down and was divided into 2 channels: RaiSat Smash (later became Smash Girls shortly in 2009) and RaiSat Yoyo (now Rai Yoyo).
A more general kids channel was also launched later in 2007 with Rai Gulp, serving as a more direct spiritual successor to RaiSat Ragazzi.
