Rainbow Cinemas was originally a second run movie theater in Canada. They later added some first run movies.
There was a merger between Rainbow and Magic Lantern, and Rainbow now only has theaters in Cobourg, Ontario, and Magic Lantern has theaters in Camrose, Peace River, St. Paul and Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta; Saskatoon, North Battleford, Yorkton and Meadow Lake in Saskatchewan; and Dawson Creek, British Columbia.
