Reliance Industries is one of the biggest Indian business conglomerates, with highly diversified operations consisting of energy and petroleum, textiles, retail, telecommunications and media. It is run and directed by Mukesh Ambani, one of the richest businessmen in India and the world. It is not to be confused with Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group , run by Mukesh's brother Anil.
