In 2014, RestauranteWeb (then a subsidiary of Just Eat) merged with competitor iFood, in a transaction that granted Just Eat (now Just Eat Takeaway.com) 25% of the combined company (a stake that was later increased to 33%, but eventually divested in 2022), which retains the iFood name.
