Rezulin was a brand of troglitazone sold by Parke-Davis from 1997 to 2000. On March 21, 2000, the drug was recalled and withdrawn from the market by the United States Food and Drug Administration after evidence proved that it was unsafe for use and had been linked to 63 liver-failure deaths.
