Rix FM (stylized as RIX FM ) is a national commercial radio network owned by Viaplay Group.
1993–1999[]
The station was launched in 1993 as Radio Rix with an AC format.
1999–2016[]
In 1999, MTG renamed the station to Rix FM with an intensive CHR format. It became the most listened to radio station in all of Sweden. In the 2000s, a new slogan "Bäst Musik Just Nu" (Best Music Right Now) was added.
