Robinsons Place Metro East[]
2001–2010[]
The Uniwide Warehouse Club on Marcos Highway was demolished and the land was sold. The lot was acquired by Robinsons Land Corporation's commercial centers division and is now the site of Robinsons Metro East. This closure was part of the broader financial struggles of the Uniwide Group, which faced severe liquidity problems after the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, leading to corporate rehabilitation, asset sales, and eventual dissolution and liquidation orders from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The Mall was opened on October 2001
