In 1960, Les Marchands en Quincaillerie was renamed Ro-Na after its founders, Roland Dansereau and Napoleon Piotte.
1965–1988[]

In 1965, The "Rare Bird" logo was introduced, created to convey a group philosophy for the member dealers part of Ro-Na, identifying them as "Rare Birds".
Despite the logo's retirement in 1988, it was still used for their Le Quincaillier branded stores until 1998.
1988-1998[]
In 1988, Ro-Na merged with Dismat, another building materials company, to create Rona Dismat Group Inc.

In 1998, the store's name was dehyphenated, and Dismat was fully absorbed into Rona.
