In 2011, the word "Mobile" was removed due to the company now being a multimedia company to expand beyond their games.
This logo made a return for Rovio Classics: Angry Birds in 2022, as the remake was meant to be a faithful recreation of the 2012 version of the original 2009 game.
2016–present[]
In 2016, the logo was made smoother and the wordmark was modified and changed to red. It first appeared on Angry Birds app icons in 2013, and also appeared on Rovio Animation logo, which first appeared in The Angry Birds Movie on May 13, 2016. The logo overhaul took effect on the update of Angry Birds series and other Rovio game titles on July 1, 2016.
On April 17, 2023, Sega officially acquired Rovio for €706 million (circa $776 million) with the sale being completed on August of that same year.
