Rumasa (Ruiz Mateos Sociedad Anónima) was a Spanish holding group owned by the Ruiz-Mateos y Jiménez de Tejada, established in 1961. Rumasa operated mainly in the wine and banking sectors. The group was expropriated by the Spanish Government on 23 February 1983, by virtue of the Decree-Law 2/1983, due to public utility and social interest reasons.
