São Paulo Já (also known by its short name, SP Já) was a newscast broadcast by Globo São Paulo between 1990 and 1996, created as a test of the failed Praça Já format. It temporarily replaced SPTV.

Especial Edition
São Paulo Já had 2 editions, just like other TV Globo local newscasts. However, as part of the Praça Já format, the first edition was longer, lasting until the beginning of Vale a Pena Ver de Novo. This meant that São Paulo Já was the only local newscast to replace the otherwise-national newscast Jornal Hoje, and therefore, also needed to broadcast international news (aside from local ones).

In 1994, to bring Jornal Hoje back to TV Globo São Paulo, the first edition of São Paulo Já was shortened, and the graphics were revised.
São Paulo Já went on-air for the last time on 30 March 1996. 2 days later, on 1 April, SPTV returned back on-air.
