Südwestfunk was a German public broadcaster operating in the states of Rhineland-Palatinate and southern Baden-Württemberg. It merged with Süddeutscher Rundfunk to form Südwestrundfunk in 1998.

1995-1998
This new logo was introduced on May 1, 1995 (created by German agency Priemdesign), and used until the channel's merger with Süddeutscher Rundfunk in 1998 and therefore short-lived. For the first time, it featured the channel's full name.
There was also a variant using the abbreviation.
