In 2007, SBS Broadcasting Group was acquired by the German media group ProSiebenSat.1 Media until the early 2010s when its assets were dispersed and subsequently acquired by other companies: the Nordic division was bought by Discovery, Inc. and became SBS Discovery Media (which later absorbed into Discovery Networks); SBS' Dutch operations were acquired by Talpa Network and Sanoma (now it is fully owned by Talpa and became Talpa TV); Its Belgian operations were sold to De Vijver Media (now owned by Telenet division of Liberty Global) and became the only company which still use the SBS moniker.
