The logo changed to a design closer to SM Megamall's when it opened. A circle would enclose the SM logo while a narrow and green serif 'CITY' would be placed directly below it. The word 'Cebu' is written in script with a long 'tail' from the 'u' extending out. The mall was opened on November 27, 1993.
