1995–2005[]
SM Southmall opened its doors on April 2, 1995. Like most SM Supermalls in the early 1990s, the logos are in a blue and teal color scheme with a narrow serif font typing out the specific name of the mall. Much like its predecessor in Cebu; a circle encloses the 'SM' logo, though the circle itself is in a white fill with a teal outline rather than in a yellow fill.
2005–2011[]
In 2005, SM Southmall's logo had its first update. It is a modification of the 1997 SM City logo with the 'City' being removed for 'Southmall'. The same style of logo was also given for SM Megamall.
2010–2023[]
In 2010, SM Southmall's logo was once again updated in advance of its major renovation. The style is basically SM Megamall's 2005 logo except the 'swoosh' was modified into a half swoosh on the 'A' rather than a full 'swoosh' underneath the text. This style would be the basis for subsequent relaunches of SM's flagship malls and the launch of the 'Premier' branded malls.
