On 22 May, Football Club Latina is founded through Viribus Cisterna Montello, in Eccellenza (fifth league of the football system). In July of the same year, Virtus Latina is founded, which then replaces Real Latina in Promozione (sixth league of the football system).

After the championship is over, the two clubs are merged together, forming US Latina Calcio SSD.
