2010–2017[]

Saban Brands LLC

On May 5, 2010, Saban Capital Group announced that it would form Saban Brands (SB), a successor company to Saban Entertainment dedicated to acquiring entertainment and consumer brands. On May 12, 2010, it was announced that they bought back the Power Rangers franchise from The Walt Disney Company for $43 million.[1]

2017–2018[]

In 2017, Saban Brands changed its logo color from red to gold. The gold was also a throwback to the 1996 Saban Entertainment logo.

In February 2018, Saban Brands appointed Hasbro as the global master toy licensee for Power Rangers in April 2019 with a future option to purchase the franchise. On May 1, 2018, Saban agreed to sell Power Rangers and other entertainment assets to them for $522 million.[2]

On July 2, 2018, Saban Brands ended operations after having only nine existing employees out of sixty would be retained by Saban Capital Group, and selling all of its assets to Hasbro.[3]
