The classic Safari logo used from Mac OS X Panther to Mavericks.
2014–present (macOS Catalina or earlier)
In 2014, Apple launched a new Safari logo, similar in style to iOS 7-onwards. The new logo along with other apps take on a more simple style as opposed to realistic. The icon is still used on macOS Catalina or earlier.
This logo was used from iPhone OS 1 to iOS 6 in August 2013.
This logo was used from iOS 7 to iOS 10. The N, E, S and W were all removed and the needle was simplified.
Icon first used in iOS 11 Beta. The compass needle is less sharper than before and was moved more slightly towards the left. Also, the gradient was made darker.
