Antique Olive Black ("Sam's") Helvetica Extended Bold ("Club")
Launched:
September 15, 1990
Beginning in September 1990, Sam's new stores would open without "Wholesale" in their name, following litigation in North Carolina months prior. It was cited that a “wholesale buyer” denoted a retailer that sold bulk goods for resale by other vendors, and although Sam's catered to this market, their allowance of individual shoppers buying goods for personal use violated this definition. The first use of this logo was in the grand opening ads for the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, club.

Despite being discontinued after October/early November 2006, some stores still used this logo until the early 2010s. However, like the 1992 Wal-Mart logo, this can still be seen on some semi trucks.
