For this release, the number 6 was added beside the logo to indicate the year when the tablet was released. The following tablets used this logo variant:

For the 2017 release, only the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) used this logo variant.[8]
2018–2020[]
For the 2018 release, Samsung Galaxy Tab A redesigned the logo, only the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 (2018) used this logo variant.[9]

For the 2019 release, The following tablets used this logo variant:
2020–present[]
Since 2020, succeeding Samsung Galaxy Tab A models introduced their own logos.
