2014–2015[]

Samsung Gear (2013)

In 2014, Samsung released the Samsung Gear 2, replacing the Galaxy Gear. It dropped the Galaxy branding as the smartwatch's OS was running on Tizen instead of a heavily modified version of Android used on its predecessor.

2015–2019[]

In 2019, Samsung rebranded their smartwatches, fitness bands, and earbuds under the Samsung Galaxy brand.
