This branding was introduced in 2010 after Samsung's PC business re-entered the US and Canada markets, as well as expanding outside Korea and European markets. This was later succeeded by Samsung ATIV line of Windows PCs in 2012.
2014–2015 (South Korea)[]

In 2014, Samsung decided to drop the ATIV branding in South Korea in favor of a relaunched Samsung Notebook branding, while they continued to market these PCs under the ATIV branding until 2016.

In 2015, Samsung Notebook's wordmark was updated.
In 2016, Samsung relaunched the Samsung Notebook branding in the US with its new models alongside the release of Galaxy TabPro S, its first Windows tablet under the Samsung Galaxy branding.
In 2020, Samsung Notebook was later replaced by Galaxy Book line of laptops.
