It was used as a startup logo in most of their TVs until 2016 and appeared on its Welcome/Setup intro video from 2012–2015. The M logo was used as a "Smart Hub" button on its remote until it was replaced in later Samsung Smart TV remotes in 2016. This was also used on Samsung Smart Blu-ray Player with the same logo but without the "TV" part.
