In 1986, Samsung Telecommunications released their first phone, the SC-100, which used the Samsung Group 1980 logo.

In 1993, Samsung Telecommunications adopted the logo from their parent company.

In October of 1994, the SH-770 was released, and was the first Samsung Telecommunications product to use the Samsung wordmark rather than the full logo. This would become the primary Samsung Telecommunications logo, with the 1993 logo being used on software and other secondary methods.
