Sangeet Bangla is the oldest and most popular Bengali-language music channel in India. It was launched on 15 April 2005, on the Bengali New Year (Poila Boishakh).
It is a joint venture between Media Worldwide Private Limited, an Indian music TV broadcaster, and Shree Venkatesh Films, a Bengali-language film production company. Media Worldwide owns four other music channels, namely Bangla Talkies (another Bengali music channel), Music India, Sangeet Marathi and Sangeet Bhojpuri.

On 15 August 2021, the 75th Indian Independence Day, Sangeet Bangla introduced a new logo for the first time since its launch in 2005, as well as a new graphics package.
