In 2002, the rights to Sarsi were jointly acquired by The Coca-Cola Company and San Miguel Corporation via their Filipino joint venture, Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc.
In 2007, The Coca-Cola Company fully acquired the rights to Sarsi, after San Miguel sold of its stake in Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines.
