This slightly altered logo was adopted later on.
The network received a complete graphical overhaul on December 25, 2007. It was made by Thornberg & Forester and included a completely new logo.
On June 8, 2011 the Science Channel will adopt a new look and will drop the "Channel" part from its name.
The new logo is inspired by the periodic table and features the letters "Sci" in dark mercury. The font used is called Avant Garde.
