Seinfeld is a sitcom based around the everyday-life of the comedian Jerry Seinfeld. The series aired on NBC from July 5, 1989 to May 14, 1998.

When the series debuted on July 5, 1989, it was a twenty-three-minute pilot titled The Seinfeld Chronicles. The typeface used here is Optima.

1990–1991[]
So as to not be confused with the (eventually short-lived) ABC series The Marshall Chronicles, the series was renamed simply Seinfeld in 1990; the typeface used is Helvetica Bold Condensed.
1991–1998[]
This was the main and final logo of the series. It was used from 1991 to the show's finale in 1998. The series is currently rebroadcast in syndication, on Comedy Central and Netflix.
