In 1986, Selchow and Righter was purchased by Coleco Industries for $75 million, but continued to use the name for board games released by the company until 1989 when Coleco declared bankruptcy and was purchased by Hasbro. Selchow & Righter games would then be produced under either the Milton Bradley name or the Parker Brothers names going forwards.
