Shemaroo MarathiBana is a Marathi-language movie channel in India launched in January 2020 by Shemaroo, an Indian entertainment company, as its first TV channel (followed by the Hindi general entertainment channel Shemaroo TV in May). Originally running as MR TV, it was renamed before officially being launched.
Its sole competitor is Zee Talkies, which had monopolised the Marathi movie channel sector after competitor Fakt Marathi was converted into an entertainment channel.
