ShowBiz Pizza began as Pizza Show Biz, an internal franchise company for early Pizza Time Theatre stores which never went into fruition.

This logo was reportedly first used at the Ben White location in Austin, Texas in 1986/1987, the first location to undergo a remodel as part of an initiative introduced that year. By the end of 1994, all ShowBiz Pizza locations were converted into Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza.
