This logo was commonly used in on-air promos and IDs alongside a circle that contained a television screen, similar to the logo used by Rede Globo. [1]

Showtime80s

1990–1997

The circle with a TV screen, used in the first two Showtime logos from 1980 to 1990, was dropped in this revision of the prior logo, leaving only the italic Showtime text in Franklin Gothic font.

1997–present

Showtime 1997

In 1997, the Showtime channels received a new logo and on-air looks designed by Chermayeff & Geismar, featuring the text "SHO" in negative space on a red circle.
