Siri is the voice-input, voice-response artificial intelligence personal assistant software originally developed by SRI International for iOS devices in the mid-2000s and later for macOS computers. Siri was acquired by Apple in April 2010 under the direction of Steve Jobs, former CEO and co-founder of Apple.

This Siri icon still existed in the "Dock & Menu Bar" options in System Preferences on macOS 12.0.1.

This logo was announced during WWDC 2024, and will be used on iOS, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.
