In 1999, Premier Parks rebranded to Six Flags, Inc., or simply Six Flags, to capitalize on its flagship brand.

In 2010, after its Chapter 11 bankruptcy exit, the company rebranded to Six Flags Entertainmnet Corporation.
2015–2019[]
2020–2024[]
In 2023, it was announced that Six Flags would merge with Cedar Fair, with the latter inheriting the Six Flags name. The merger closed on July 1, 2024.
