FTN launched on January 15, 2003, the same day as its Freeview neighbour, UK Bright Ideas (later UKTV Bright Ideas, then Watch, now W).

Channel One

When Sky acquired Virgin Media's television channel, they said that they didn't intend to license the Virgin brand. As a result, the channel would have to be renamed.

On 5 August 2010, Living TV Group announced that Virgin1 would be relaunched as Channel One on 3 September. Channel One closed down on 1 February 2011, one month after Bravo and Bravo 2 were closed, meaning that this logo was short-lived.
