Premiere was relaunched on July 4, 2009 and renamed Sky. At the same time, the new action movie channel Sky Action was launched. Sky Action was the only new Sky movie channel which didn't have a strict predecessor in the Premiere package, although Sky sent out information saying that it was replacing Premiere 1, along with Sky Cinema.
The channel ident was adapted from the ident used by Sky Movies Action & Thriller in the United Kingdom.
Sky Action HD launched on August 13, 2010. This logo was used until 2012.
